During 2016 we raced in both Europe and USA. And we did it pretty good. Jonnie defended his NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car Championship. Johan raced as a hired driver in the Pro Mod team Old-51. He won in Hockenheim in Germany and ended up as number four in the European Championship.

jonnie
Jonnie has decided that during 2017 he will concentrate 100% on his business racing the Head Racing Nitro Funny Car. He will therefor not attend in any Top Alcohol races as a driver.
We will see Jonnie at between 16 to 18 races, and the first one is the Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida on the 17th to 19th of March.

johan
This decision by Jonnie, opens up for Johan to step in and take over Jonnies two time World Champ Alcohol Funny Car. Johan will race in as many races we can manage during the season. We have to have the funding and it also has to fit Jonnies schedule.
—I wouldn't want any other but the worlds best tuner. Which of course is my little brother Jonnie! big brother Johan says.
Johans first race will be the 4 Wide Nationals in Charlotte, North Carolina on the 28th to 30th of April.

We all have read during the day that Jonnie will go really big during 2017, replacing the driver Chad Head in Jim Head’s 10'000 horsepower Toyota Nitro Funny Car.
—I'm so much looking forward to this season. I want to learn everything about the nitro funny car business. Both handling the car as a driver, but also all the practical things about tuning and maintenance, Jonnie says while drivning heading north to Ohio and the Head Racing head office.
—I just can't wait seeing the guys in the team and take a look at the car. The Heads garage is just about a three hour drive to the east from my shop in Indy.

Head Inc. Contractors and Engineers
Chad Head have taken the decision to devote more of his time to the family business, Head Inc. Contractors and Engineers. Head Inc. was originally founded as an building contractor company in 1927, and is since the late nineties specialized in airfield concrete paving projects.
